Dr. Philippe Tremml, the founder of Biologicals International, has over 12 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry across a variety of industrial coporate departments and management functions. He is also author of a top biosimilar report issued by SCRIP Reports and speaker at various conferences.

After graduation in economy and biology, he successfully completed his studies with a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Zurich. Dr. Tremml continuously educated himself and successfully completed studies at the Management Institute of St. Gallen (SGMI) on financial management, controlling and company valuation for executives.

Dr. Tremml has held positions at blue chip pharmaceutical companies including Novartis and Wyeth across a diverse range of business functions including international marketing and market research. He then assumed a senior position at the world’s leading Biotechnology Company, Amgen, in the International Business Analysis and Strategic Planning Department. Following a call from BioPartners, a biosimilar and NME development company, he assumed the role as Global Head of Business Development and Marketing. Later, Dr. Tremml joined Cephalon Inc. as General Manager for a European subsidiary, where he was tasked with restructuring and establishing the affiliate for future strategic corporate objectives.

In 2003, Dr. Tremml decided to start his own business and founded Biologicals International GmbH in Switzerland, an independant consulting firm with services to the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Diagnostics industry, dedicated to achieve results through commitment, experience, and a vast network of contacts.
